Global environmental preservation is an issue that all people living on the earth must consider as we enter the 21st century.
As a company involved in the automotive industry, Sakurai Corporation is committed to earth-friendly initiatives.

Conscious of reuse, not recycling
Reuse

There are numerous auto dismantlers,
In Japan, about 4 million vehicles are disposed of annually.

Now, with the Automobile Recycling Law in place, approximately 80% of parts and materials are recycled per vehicle.
Sakurai Corporation has succeeded in recycling approximately 95% of its products.

Before the Automobile Recycling Law was enacted, it was common practice to break up cars into small pieces and bury them as they were.
In addition, some contractors were dripping CFC gas, oil, and antifreeze.

If we continue to do so, the earth's environment will naturally deteriorate.
The concept of properly recycling vehicles in compliance with the Automobile Recycling Law is essential for the future.

Recycling is beneficial to the user as well as the earth's environment.
Because the more parts that can be recycled, the higher the value of the car and the lower the scrapping fee.
This benefit will be felt when the car is picked up.
There is a reason why recycling-conscious vendors are able to provide quality service.

The parts we dismantle are exported and reused not only in Japan but all over the world.

Reducing CO2 emissions by utilizing solar energy

Sakurai Corporation has installed solar panels on its rooftop.
To contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, we were one of the first to incorporate photovoltaic power generation into our company.
These panels reduce the amount of electricity used and contribute to CO2 reduction.

The electricity generated at these sites supports the activities of Sakurai Corporation.
We also store rainwater that falls on the ceiling of the plant (plant area: 800 tsubo((26446.28㎡))) in a water storage tank and use it as water for the plant.
There are two water storage tanks (10,000 L and 3000 L), allowing plenty of rainwater to be stored.

We will continue to actively incorporate anything that leads to global environmental preservation, even if it is not in the auto dismantling industry.
